SEED 1 Day Pure EDOF

Japan daily disposable multifocal progressive contact lenses for presbyopia

Extended Depth of Focus refers to expanding the range of "consistent focus" that the brain can recognize. Generally, monofocal contact lenses used for nearsightedness and farsightedness have only one focal point, but SEED 1day Pure EDOF is designed based on the principle of focal depth expansion, which can ensure that any distance within the focal depth range can continue to maintain stable and good visual effects . SEED has teamed up with the Brien Holden Vision Institute, a world-renowned research institute, to challenge the development of innovative near and far contact lenses. A completely new lens design was developed using the principle of EDOF (Expanded Depth of Focus) used in medical fields such as cataract surgery (intraocular lenses).

Brand new lens construction

Conventional near and far contact lenses are generally equipped with near and far powers on the lens in a dual or progressive configuration. However, the new design uses multiple configurations of near, mid and far degrees like "tree rings" to overcome the shortcomings of conventional structures.

The difference between SEED 1day Pure EDOF and regular contact lenses

Because the lens design is different from regular lenses. In dark places, visual effects are stabilized even with dilated pupils. Stabilizes vision even with lens shift when blinking or moving due to sight

3-stage design

To meet the various needs of our patients, we offer 3 different stage lens designs. By adding a suitable degree distribution in 3 different stages, the depth of focus is expanded, and the poor visual effect is also alleviated.

High moisturizing power, comfortable wearing feeling

Combining the three major elements of "material + design + moisturizing ingredients", the lens can retain moisture for a long time, softly adhere to the cornea, and provide users with a comfortable wearing feeling.

Block harmful UV rays and protect your eyes

Ultraviolet rays (UV) can cause skin problems such as dark spots, cause pigmentation, and are also one of the culprits of eye diseases such as cataracts. This product contains UV absorbers, which can effectively block harmful UV rays and protect your eyes.
